Anzac Day which is held on 25th April, is a national day of remembrance for Australia and New Zealand, remembering the Australian and New Zealand troops who fought and died at Gallipoli in 1915. To support learning through history, we have made these historical resources for educators to use when teaching children all about Anzac Day to children in primary and elementary schools. The Anzac Day themed flashcards, posters, display banners and display words have been given a time saving double mounted effect, which will also save on your school resources. The poppy display lettering has been made available on a Word document, to enable you to re-size if required and cut & paste onto a second (new) Word document. Many of the resources below, have an editable version to enable you to convert the resource into your chosen font / language. These editable resources are great to use, especially if you teach a foreign language. There are two sets of Anzac Day themed page borders available in both landscape and portrait. To help support cooking in schools we have a 'Cooking with Kelsey' Anzac biscuit recipe. We also have plenty of flags, bunting, worksheets which are all great to help motivate children and keep them busy. We hope you find the below Anzac Day resources both time saving and useful.
